Are you a UA faculty member, student or employee working in machine learning and A.I. software innovation? The hype is that machine learning is “poised to reinvent computing itself.” (New York Times, 12/14/16)
You are invited to lunch and a discussion about the state of the art in these areas of UA research.
As more inventions utilize machine learning and A.I., TLA offers the help and services you need to develop strategies for bringing these new technologies to the marketplace where they can create impact.
Presenters will include:
- Stephen Kobourov, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Computer Science, College of Science, and Iqbal Hossain, Ph.D., postdoctoral research associate, who will demonstrate their Knowledge Mapping visualization software.
- Eric Lyons, Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Plant Sciences, College of Agriculture & Life Sciences, and Heather Lent, graduate student in the Department of Linguistics, College of Social & Behavioral Sciences, who will disucss their Knowledge Extraction topic mapping software.
This event is for UA faculty, staff and students only.
